Boku no Hero Academia - Souda Onigashima ikou (Doujinshi)

Souda Onigashima ikou is a doujinshi title created by the artist Micco, operating under the circle name 'Pomu'. Like much of the My Hero Academia fan literature produced within the Japanese independent publishing scene, this work was created to explore niche character dynamics and scenarios not present in the official canon. It reflects the vibrant 'fanzine' culture prevalent at events like Comiket, where creators produce unofficial, high-quality manga booklets to share specialized interpretations of popular series with other enthusiasts.

The aesthetic of this work draws heavily from Kohei Horikoshi’s original art style while adapting it to the intimate, character-focused storytelling typical of the doujinshi format. Micco’s design choices emphasize expressive line work and character personality, which has earned the work a positive reputation within the specific fan circles that prioritize character-driven narratives. It is received primarily as a collectible artifact for fans interested in secondary interpretations of the series' hero training environment and interpersonal relationships.
