Bokura no Scramblues

Bokura no Scramblues is a niche manga series illustrated by the artist known as mame march. The work occupies a space within the alternative or independent manga scene, characterized by a distinct, often surreal visual style that deviates from mainstream shonen or shojo conventions. It emerged as part of a wave of self-published or small-press zines and short-run volumes that gained traction through online art communities and independent bookstore circuits in Japan.

The aesthetic of the series is marked by a focus on atmospheric storytelling and character-driven vignettes rather than linear plot progression. Mame march utilized a loose, expressive line work intended to evoke a sense of fleeting nostalgia and melancholy. While the series remains a deep cut in the broader manga landscape, it has been noted by design enthusiasts for its deliberate, minimalist cover art and unconventional layout, which prioritize the tactile experience of the physical volume.
