Bokura wa Minna Uso Bakari

Bokura wa Minna Uso Bakari, authored by Mitsunaga Hirama, emerged as a notable title within the landscape of seinen manga. Published during a period where character-driven psychological narratives were gaining significant traction among adult readers, the work reflects the introspective and often cynical tone typical of the genre's mid-2000s output. The series focuses on the complex, often deceptive interpersonal dynamics of its characters, grounding its narrative in the mundane realities of modern Japanese social life.

The visual design and sequential storytelling prioritize character expression over elaborate backgrounds, a deliberate choice by Hirama to emphasize the internal conflicts of the protagonists. The series was received as a straightforward, grounded look at human dishonesty, finding a niche audience that appreciated its lack of hyperbolic tropes. While it remains a relatively obscure title in the broader international manga market, it is frequently cited by collectors of contemporary seinen works for its consistent tone and clear illustrative style.
