Bollettino ufficiale delle nomine, promozioni e destinazioni negli uffiziali dell'esercito italiano e nel personale dell'amministrazione militare

The Bollettino ufficiale delle nomine, promozioni e destinazioni negli uffiziali dell'esercito italiano e nel personale dell'amministrazione militare was an official serial publication produced by the Italian Ministry of War. Initiated during the late 19th century following the unification of Italy, it served as the authoritative record for military personnel changes, reflecting the rigid bureaucratic structure of the Regio Esercito. These volumes were printed to ensure public transparency and administrative accountability regarding officer commissions, transfers, and advancements within the ranks.

The design of these volumes is strictly utilitarian, prioritizing clarity and archival integrity over aesthetic flair. As official state documents, they were produced with a standardized, austere layout typical of government gazettes of the period, intended for use by administrative staff and military researchers. They are highly valued by historians today as primary sources that document the career trajectories of officers through critical periods of Italian history, including the transition into the early 20th century and the mobilization efforts of the era.
