Danger Walking

Danger Walking is a manga series created by Hoshisato Mochiru, a Japanese mangaka known for works blending lighthearted romantic comedy with supernatural or science fiction elements. The series was published during the early 1990s, a period when Mochiru was highly active in the seinen manga market, specifically within magazines that favored a mix of witty dialogue and imaginative, often surreal, narrative premises.

The design and tone of the work reflect Mochiru's signature aesthetic, which often features clean character linework and expressive, dynamic compositions meant to balance the comedic timing with the strange scenarios the characters navigate. Like many of his works from this era, Danger Walking was received by readers as a niche but charming contribution to the genre, appreciated for its quirky inventiveness rather than a widespread or mainstream critical overhaul.
