Dansou Oujo no Akusai Keikaku ~Danna-sama ga Zenzen Rikon ni Oujite Kuremasen~

Dansou Oujo no Akusai Keikaku ~Danna-sama ga Zenzen Rikon ni Oujite Kuremasen~, authored by Higuruma Mere, is a romantic comedy light novel series that leans into the popular 'reincarnation' and 'villainess' subgenres of Japanese web literature. It follows a narrative trope where a protagonist attempts to navigate a complex domestic situation within a fictional aristocratic setting, specifically focusing on the protagonist's attempts to dissolve a marriage despite her husband's persistent refusal.

The series emerged from the dense ecosystem of Japanese web-novel platforms like Shosetsuka ni Naro, where the author's specific blend of light-hearted romantic tension and character-driven comedy found a dedicated readership. Higuruma Mere’s writing is characterized by the juxtaposition of the protagonist's internal struggle with the increasingly comedic and stubborn behavior of her partner, a hallmark of the series' design that aims to provide a satirical take on traditional noble-romance dynamics.
