Deadpool: Millionaire With A Mouth | The Manga

Deadpool: Millionaire with a Mouth was released as a serialized comedic manga under the Marvel Comics and Kodansha partnership in the early 2010s. The project emerged from Marvel's strategic initiative to bridge their iconic American superhero roster with the distinct visual language and humor tropes of Japanese manga, aiming to tap into a broader international demographic while exploring the absurdity of the character through a new lens.

The series was illustrated by Momoi Housuke, who leaned heavily into the exaggerated facial expressions, rapid-fire pacing, and slapstick gag humor central to the shonen manga tradition. The design approach highlights the contrast between Deadpool's violent tendencies and the relatively sanitized, trope-driven world of Japanese school-life and action comedy. While it received mixed reactions for its niche departure from Western comic continuity, it remains a notable curiosity within the extensive Deadpool bibliography.
