Dimension W is a science fiction manga series written and illustrated by Yuji Iwahara, which began its serialization in 2011 in Square Enix's Young Gangan magazine. Set in a future where humanity has harnessed limitless energy from a fourth-dimensional axis known as the W dimension, the narrative centers on Kyouma Mabuchi, a 'collector' who hunts illegal energy-coils. The series emerged during a period of heightened interest in cyberpunk-inspired aesthetics within the seinen manga demographic, blending hard sci-fi concepts with noir-inflected character archetypes.
