Where it came from
El Apellido Bauzá is a genealogical and historical study authored by David Bausà López, dedicated to tracing the etymology, origins, and lineage of the Bauzá surname. Published to document the presence and geographical spread of this family name, the volume serves as a reference work for those investigating Catalan and Balearic ancestry, grounded in heraldic records and historical civil registrations.
The work reflects a meticulous approach to surname research, typical of late 20th and early 21st-century Iberian genealogical studies. The author focused on synthesizing archival findings to provide a cohesive narrative of the family's development over centuries, ensuring the design remained utilitarian and accessible for researchers interested in the specific history of the Bauzá lineage.
