Enkyori Kanojo ga Ai ni Kita.

Enkyori Kanojo ga Ai ni Kita, or 'The Long-Distance Girlfriend Came to See Me,' originated as a heartfelt web-comic series by the artist Niichi, primarily shared through social media platforms like Twitter. The work emerged from a trend of short-form, slice-of-life romantic narratives that gained significant traction in the Japanese digital art community during the late 2010s, focusing on the intimate, often bittersweet nuances of a couple separated by distance.

The physical volume serves as a compilation of these vignettes, capturing Niichi's signature clean line art and gentle character expressions. The design prioritizes a relatable aesthetic, aiming to evoke a sense of warmth and longing in the reader. Upon its print release, the volume was well-received by fans of the genre for its ability to condense complex emotional arcs into brief, impactful panels, solidifying Niichi’s reputation for capturing quiet, personal moments.
