Feng Shen Ji is a prominent Hong Kong manhua series created by writer Cheng Kin Wo and artist Tang Chi Fai. Debuting in 2010, the series was conceived as a creative reimagining of the classic Chinese mythological epic Investiture of the Gods. Set in a fantasy version of the Shang Dynasty, the narrative centers on Ah Gou, the son of the Emperor, as he leads a rebellion against the tyrannical gods who control human destiny.
