FFF-Class Trashero

FFF-Class Trashero originated as a satirical web novel written by the author known as Farnar, first serialized on the South Korean platform Munpia in 2017. The narrative serves as a subversion of the popular isekai and power-fantasy tropes, following a protagonist who is forcibly transported to a fantasy world to act as a hero, only to become increasingly cynical and anti-heroic due to the rigid, bureaucratic, and often absurd nature of the world's grading system.

The character design and world-building reflect a deliberate parody of traditional role-playing game mechanics. Farnar’s writing was well-received for its dark humor and the protagonist’s unapologetic, often ruthless pragmatism, which contrasted sharply with the archetypal self-sacrificing heroes common in the genre. Following the success of the novel, the work was adapted into a webtoon, further cementing its place as a notable entry in the deconstructive fantasy subgenre of Korean web literature.
