〇 ga Nigatena Kyuuketsuki to Nakimushi no Otokonoko no Hanashi, which translates to The Story of a Vampire Who Is Bad at Circles and a Crybaby Boy, originated as an independent web manga series created by the artist Jaguchi. The work emerged from the vibrant Japanese online comic scene where creators often share short, character-driven narratives via social media platforms, gaining popularity through the steady cultivation of a dedicated digital following.

The narrative centers on a charmingly ironic premise involving a vampire with a specific phobia and a sensitive young boy, reflecting a subgenre of manga focused on gentle, supernatural slice-of-life interactions. Jaguchi’s design aesthetic relies on soft lines and expressive character work intended to highlight the emotional vulnerability of the protagonists. Upon its compilation into a physical volume, the work was received as a endearing addition to the 'iyashikei' or healing style of storytelling, valued by readers for its quiet humor and heartwarming tone.
