Gambling Emperor Legend Zero, or Tobaku Haōden Zero, is a seinen manga series written and illustrated by Nobuyuki Fukumoto. It was first serialized in Kodansha's Weekly Shōnen Magazine starting in 2007. The narrative centers on Zero Ukai, a brilliant young man who enters a high-stakes competition designed by a wealthy magnate to determine his successor. The series follows the tradition of Fukumoto's previous works, focusing on psychological warfare, intricate puzzles, and the desperate human conditions inherent in extreme gambling scenarios.
