General-Register ... zu der ... Zeitschrift für wissenschaftliche Theologie Jahrgang i ... bis xxxiii

The Zeitschrift für wissenschaftliche Theologie was a prominent German academic journal dedicated to theology and historical-critical biblical studies, founded in 1858 by Adolf Hilgenfeld. This volume serves as a general index covering the first thirty-three years of the publication, an essential tool for navigating the extensive intellectual contributions that defined the journal's influence within nineteenth-century Protestant scholarship.

Compiled by Franz Görres, this index reflects the rigorous bibliographic standards of the era's theological circles. Görres meticulously organized the complex discourse surrounding historical-critical methodology to assist scholars in accessing the journal’s exhaustive debates. It stands as a testament to the period’s commitment to exhaustive indexing and the preservation of academic exchange during the height of the Tübingen School's historical influence.
