Groizer X was originally conceptualized as an anime series in 1976, created by Go Nagai and produced by Knack Productions. The manga adaptation featured in TV-Kun magazine was illustrated by Outa Gosaku, a prolific artist known for his gritty, dynamic interpretations of Nagai's super robot concepts.
