Hardcore Leveling Warrior: World of Tanks

Hardcore Leveling Warrior: World of Tanks emerged from a unique collaborative crossover between the popular webtoon franchise Hardcore Leveling Warrior, created by Kim Sehoon, and the tactical multiplayer online game World of Tanks. Published to coincide with promotional efforts in the Korean market, the volume integrates the high-stakes, competitive atmosphere of the original series with the specific aesthetic and mechanics of tank warfare. It was designed to broaden the appeal of the webtoon’s established fantasy setting by grounding it in a recognizable real-world military context.

Kim Sehoon’s approach to the project focused on maintaining the distinct, kinetic art style of the primary series while adapting the character designs to suit a more technical, industrial environment. The narrative captures the intensity of the webtoon’s ranking system, reimagining it within the framework of tank battles. Upon its release, the volume was received primarily as a collectible curiosity for fans of the franchise, serving as a testament to the creator's versatility in blending disparate genres within his established intellectual property.
