Hate x Hate

Hate x Hate, published under the Dũn Comics imprint, emerged during a period of burgeoning interest in localized underground comic aesthetics within the independent scene. Created as a stylistic exploration of themes surrounding conflict and duality, the volume serves as a showcase for the studio's preference for sharp, high-contrast linework and minimalist panel layouts. It reflects a deliberate effort to pivot away from traditional narrative pacing in favor of atmospheric storytelling, relying on visual impact to convey its central motifs.

The design of the volume was helmed by the core creative team at Dũn Comics, who prioritized a tactile, stripped-back presentation to emphasize the raw nature of the content. By utilizing bold typography and restricted color palettes, the artists sought to create a visceral reading experience that prioritizes mood over intricate exposition. Upon its release, the work was received by the independent comics community as a niche but technically precise contribution to the medium, often noted for its cohesive visual identity and uncompromising graphic approach.
