Higurashi no Naku Koro ni - Onisarashi-hen

Onisarashi-hen serves as a spin-off manga adaptation within the expansive Higurashi no Naku Koro ni franchise, initially appearing in the monthly magazine Comp Ace starting in 2005. The story was penned by the original creator, Ryukishi07, and illustrated by En Kitō, marking an early expansion of the series beyond its visual novel roots into serialized print media. It explores the familiar, suspenseful atmosphere of Hinamizawa while shifting the perspective toward a new protagonist, Natsumi Kimiyoshi, to broaden the lore of the cursed village.
