I Still Don’t Know Anything About My Favourite Character’s Unwavering Obsession

I Still Don’t Know Anything About My Favourite Character’s Unwavering Obsession, authored by the creative entity Studio Zoon, serves as a prominent entry in a series known for its reflexive meta-commentary on the nature of fandom and character archetypes. The work originated from a desire to deconstruct the obsessive attachment readers often form toward fictional figures, utilizing a narrative style that purposefully obscures the history and motivations of its titular protagonist to mirror the uncertainty of the audience's own experiences.

The aesthetic direction for this volume leans into minimalist character design, intended to emphasize the emotional interiority of the characters rather than their plot-driven actions. Upon its release, the volume garnered critical attention for its unconventional pacing and its bold decision to withhold traditional exposition. It has since been recognized by readers of experimental manga as a thoughtful, if enigmatic, meditation on the boundaries between the creator's intent and the reader's projections.
