I'm Quitting Heroing, or 'Yuusha, Yamemasu', originated as a light novel series written by Quantum and illustrated by Hana Amano, initially published on the Kakuyomu website before being picked up for physical publication by Fujimi Fantasia Bunko in 2017. Volume 3, released in the summer of 2018, continues the narrative of Leo Demonheart, a hero who abandons his victorious post to join the forces of the Demon Queen he once defeated, exploring themes of post-conflict reintegration and workplace management through a fantasy lens.
