Where it came from
In the Name of God by the artist known as Kopya is a work within the independent manga and doujinshi landscape, characterized by its distinct dark thematic elements and expressive line work. This volume emerged from a creative environment where artists often explore psychological horror and existential motifs, pushing the boundaries of traditional panel layout to emphasize a sense of unease and isolation in the reader.
The design of the volume reflects a minimalist approach to cover art, focusing on high-contrast imagery to signify the internal conflicts depicted throughout the story. While information regarding the creator's broader professional background remains private, the piece is recognized by collectors of underground manga for its stylistic consistency and the deliberate, atmospheric pacing that defines Kopya's specific visual language.
