Itsuka, Kazoku ni Naru made

Itsuka, Kazoku ni Naru made, written and illustrated by the artist known as Fujitobi, is a single-volume manga released within the competitive boys' love (BL) genre. Published in Japan, the work follows the tradition of character-driven domestic dramas that explore the formation of non-traditional family structures. Fujitobi utilized a clean, expressive art style characteristic of the mid-2010s to evoke themes of emotional growth, intimacy, and the gradual building of trust between protagonists navigating their complicated domestic lives.

The title reflects a broader movement in the BL manga market during this period, where narratives began shifting away from purely trope-heavy interactions toward more grounded, slice-of-life storytelling. Readers and critics generally received the work for its gentle pacing and the empathetic rendering of its lead characters. As a standalone volume, it stands as an accessible entry point into Fujitobi’s catalog, capturing a specific moment in the evolution of the genre where domestic stability and quiet affection became central motifs.
