Jenny In the Pot

Jenny In the Pot is an independent manga series created by the artist ghostmaya. It emerged from the digital creator sphere, reflecting a stylistic approach common to modern web-based indie manga that prioritizes character-driven narratives and atmospheric visual storytelling. The work is defined by its whimsical yet slightly surreal tone, utilizing high-contrast ink work and expressive character designs that lean into the aesthetic conventions of contemporary underground manga subcultures.

The series was developed during a period when independent mangaka increasingly utilized social media and digital publishing platforms to bypass traditional serialization models. Ghostmaya’s design philosophy for this project centered on creating a self-contained, evocative world within a domestic, pot-dwelling setting. Upon its release, the volume was well-received within niche enthusiast circles for its distinct voice and the author's ability to maintain a consistent, imaginative visual identity throughout the collection.
