Jeremy, the Jack-O'-Lantern

Jeremy, the Jack-O'-Lantern is a children’s picture book written by Ryan R. Palmer, published independently in the early 2010s. The work belongs to a genre of seasonal holiday literature intended to provide young readers with lighthearted, autumnal storytelling centered on personified Halloween iconography. As an independent publication, it reflects the growing trend of self-published narratives that focus on simple, character-driven moral lessons.

The book’s design prioritizes accessibility for its target demographic of early readers, utilizing straightforward prose and imagery typical of small-press children's literature. While not widely analyzed in mainstream literary criticism, the volume serves as a representative example of how individual authors utilize print-on-demand services to contribute to the long-standing tradition of Halloween-themed children’s stories, aiming to capture the atmosphere of the season through a gentle, singular narrative focus.
