JoJo Comics

JoJo Comics is a webcomic series created by the South Korean author Donggun Lee. Originally serialized on the Naver Webtoon platform, the series gained significant popularity for its observational humor and relatable depictions of the complexities found in romantic relationships. The comic captures the nuanced, often contradictory behaviors of couples, framing them through a lens that is both ironic and affectionate.

Donggun Lee’s design and artistic approach rely on a minimalist aesthetic that prioritizes facial expressions and body language to convey emotional shifts. By focusing on the interplay between his two primary characters, Lee creates a narrative rhythm that emphasizes the awkward, sweet, and occasionally frustrating realities of dating. The work has been well-received for its ability to distill human connection into brief, poignant vignettes that resonate with a wide digital audience.
