Where it came from
Beginning 1 is a doujinshi work created by the artist known as Yoidoreusagi, or Uusuke, within the vibrant fan culture surrounding Hirohiko Araki’s long-running manga series, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure. Produced for distribution at independent fan-run conventions like Comiket, this publication serves as a creative extension of the source material, allowing the artist to explore specific character dynamics and narrative themes outside the scope of the official serialization.
The design and artistic direction of the work reflect the distinct stylistic evolution of the late-20th-century manga aesthetic, heavily influenced by the high-fashion sensibilities and dramatic poses characteristic of Araki’s work. Doujinshi like this represent the grassroots dedication of the fan community, capturing the expressive, often subtext-heavy interpretations of the characters that have helped sustain the franchise's significant cultural footprint among international manga readers.
