Kakusansei Million Arthur - Gunjou no Sorcery Road

Kakusansei Million Arthur: Gunjou no Sorcery Road is a manga adaptation derived from the highly popular Japanese digital card battle game Million Arthur, developed by Square Enix. The series was created to translate the game's expansive fantasy world, which features a reimagining of Arthurian legend, into a narrative-driven comic format. It was serialized in Monthly Shonen Gangan, targeting a demographic of players and fantasy enthusiasts eager for deeper lore regarding the diverse characters and the intricate political struggles within the game's setting.

The manga was illustrated by Fuugetsu Makoto, who sought to capture the distinct aesthetic of the game's expansive stable of character designers while maintaining a coherent visual style suitable for a shonen manga. The design focus prioritized action-oriented panels that reflected the card-battle mechanics of the source material. Upon its release, the adaptation was received as a faithful expansion of the mobile franchise, serving as a companion piece for players who enjoyed the game's visual design and mythological themes.
