Kami-sama wo Korosu Kodomotachi

Kami-sama wo Korosu Kodomotachi, written and illustrated by Komiya Mihoko, is a manga series that emerged from the landscape of contemporary seinen storytelling. Mihoko’s work is noted for its evocative visual style, which leans into psychological depth and thematic complexity, often exploring the intersection of youth, morality, and existential conflict. The series serves as an example of niche manga that utilizes stark, deliberate pacing to build its narrative tension.

The design and artistic approach of the volume reflect a focus on atmospheric characterization, with Mihoko emphasizing internal monologues and expressive, somber linework to heighten the gravity of the plot. Upon its release, the work was received as a distinct addition to its genre, appealing to readers who prioritize character-driven dramas over traditional action tropes. It remains a notable entry in Mihoko’s bibliography, representative of her specific commitment to grounded, often melancholic, character studies.
