Kawai Gatte Ita Jūmai ni Itsunomanika Yoke Rareru Yō ni Natte Shimatta Otokonoko

This title, which translates roughly to The Boy Who Used to Be Affectionately Liked by the Girl He Liked Has Somehow Started Being Dodged by Her, originated as a web manga series authored by Sensiya. It belongs to the contemporary tradition of short-form, slice-of-life romantic comedy manga that gained significant traction on platforms like Twitter, where creators frequently release standalone chapters that rely on single-gag dynamics or developing emotional tension between two central characters.

The series centers on a protagonist who finds his once-warm relationship with a girl suddenly cooled by her consistent efforts to evade his advances. Sensiya’s design and illustration style emphasizes expressive, minimalist character reactions, focusing on the comedic frustration of the male lead and the stoic, intentional distance maintained by the female lead. The work has been well-received by fans of the 'teasing' subgenre of romance manga for its straightforward humor and its ability to sustain a long-running narrative arc through relatively sparse dialogue.
