Killing Spree

Killing Spree, authored by the artist known as SN, is a title emerging from the independent manga and doujinshi circuit. Produced in a landscape where creators often blend visceral aesthetic choices with transgressive themes, the work reflects a mid-2000s trend toward dark, self-published genre fiction that prioritizes shock value and distinct, high-contrast illustration styles over mainstream narrative conventions.

The design and artistic approach are characteristic of SN’s body of work, which frequently employs jagged lines and stark compositions to evoke a sense of unease. While the work remains a niche curiosity rather than a piece of critical canon, it is often discussed within subcultures interested in the aesthetics of extreme independent print media, serving as a documentation of the unfiltered creative experimentation found in self-distributed manga.
