Kingdom Hearts - RS Collection (Doujinshi Anthology)

The Kingdom Hearts RS Collection emerged from the vibrant Japanese doujinshi culture of the early 2000s, a period when fan creativity flourished in response to the massive success of the Square Enix and Disney collaboration. These anthologies were produced by independent creators and sold at events like Comiket, serving as an unofficial, artist-driven extension of the game's narrative universe.

This specific volume features the work of Ichimura Hitoshi, a mangaka known for his stylistic interpretations of established series. In these collections, artists aimed to explore personal takes on Sora and his companions, often focusing on nuanced character dynamics or lighthearted scenarios that the main games left untouched. Such works were well-received by the dedicated fan base, who valued these booklets as intimate, physical artifacts of the community's passion.
