Kono Yuusha ga Ore TUEEE Kuse ni Shinchou Sugiru, known in English as Cautious Hero: The Hero Is Overpowered but Overly Cautious, originated as a Japanese light novel series written by Light Tuchihi. Originally serialized online via the user-generated novel publishing website Kakuyomu starting in 2016, it was later picked up for commercial publication by Kadokawa Shoten with illustrations provided by Saori Toyota. The series operates as a comedic subversion of the isekai genre, specifically parodying the trope of the all-powerful, confident protagonist by introducing a hero whose extreme anxiety and pathological need for preparation create absurd logistical challenges for his companions.

The narrative follows the goddess Ristarte as she summons the hero Seiya Ryuuguuin to save a world with an S-ranked difficulty level.
