Love Live! - About who we have been until now, and who I will be from now on (Doujinshi)

This doujinshi, created by the artist Plumeria, emerged from the vibrant and prolific fan community surrounding the Love Live! multimedia franchise. Self-published works in this space often serve as character-driven explorations, allowing creators to delve into the emotional arcs and interpersonal relationships of the school idol groups in ways that the official canon might only touch upon. By focusing on themes of personal growth and continuity, this volume reflects the reflective and melancholic tone often favored by fans invested in the long-term journeys of the fictional characters.

The design and illustrative style of Plumeria’s work typically align with the aesthetic sensibilities common to high-quality fan publications, emphasizing soft line work and intimate portraiture. These doujinshi are produced as independent artistic interpretations, usually sold at specialized events like Comiket in Japan. They are received by the community as essential companion pieces that expand the lore of the franchise, valued by collectors for their ability to provide a more nuanced, intimate look at the characters' internal development between the major beats of the main series.
