Maximum Ride

Maximum Ride is a series of young adult science fiction novels authored by James Patterson, which first emerged in the mid-2000s as a spin-off and reimagining of his earlier work, the Daniel X and When the Wind Blows series. The narrative centers on Max and her flock, genetically enhanced children with avian DNA, as they flee a clandestine organization known as the School.
