Moon Knight: Marc Spector Omnibus Vol. 1

Released in 2023, the Marc Spector: Moon Knight Omnibus Volume 1 collects the initial issues of the 1989 ongoing series. This collection serves to preserve the era following the character's initial foundational runs, capturing a transitional period in the 1990s where the title leaned heavily into gritty urban vigilante tropes and noir-inspired storytelling that defined the comic landscape of the time.

The volume features writing primarily by Chuck Dixon, who assumed the mantle for the series during its early run. Dixon focused on grounding Marc Spector in a hardened, street-level reality, working alongside various artists who emphasized the character's complex psychological state and his multifaceted identities. The collection is valued by fans for archiving these specific creative choices and the distinct aesthetic evolution of the Moon Knight mythos during a formative decade.
