Where it came from
My Days With You is a contemporary manga series created by the artist known as _softie. The work emerged from the vibrant independent digital publishing scene, where creators leverage online platforms to serialize character-driven stories directly to a global audience. This particular volume functions as an exploration of intimate, quiet daily life, reflecting the artist's focus on atmosphere and the subtleties of human connection rather than traditional high-stakes narrative beats.
The visual identity of the series is defined by _softie’s minimalist aesthetic, which utilizes soft line work and a restrained color palette to evoke a sense of calm and nostalgia. In the context of modern slice-of-life manga, the work has been noted for its contemplative pacing and its departure from dense, action-heavy panel layouts. It has garnered a dedicated following among readers who value aesthetic consistency and the tender, personal storytelling often associated with self-published indie comics.
