Oomuro-ke

Oomuro-ke originated as a spin-off manga series created by the artist Namori, focusing on the domestic lives of the Oomuro sisters—Sakurako, Hanako, and Nadeshiko. Initially serialized online, the work serves as a companion to Namori’s broader Yuru Yuri universe, expanding on the background of a recurring character from that flagship series. The narrative is structured around episodic, lighthearted vignettes that emphasize the comedic interactions between the three siblings and their respective social circles.

The design and tone of the series reflect Namori’s signature style, characterized by clean lines, expressive character silhouettes, and a focus on mundane, observational humor. By shifting the perspective away from the school-based antics of Yuru Yuri to the home environment, Namori aimed to capture a more intimate and distinct family dynamic. The series has been well received by fans of the author’s work for its ability to balance character-driven humor with the familiar aesthetic established in the parent series.
