Ore ni Trauma wo Ataeta Joshi-tachi ga Chirachira Mitekuru kedo, Zannen desuga Teokure desu

Originally serialized as a light novel series written by Midou Yuragi with illustrations by Mimmi, this work belongs to the popular Japanese genre of romantic comedy infused with heavy psychological drama. The narrative follows a protagonist who, having been deeply scarred by the actions of several women in his past, attempts to move on with his life, only for those same individuals to begin taking an intrusive interest in his present circumstances. It reflects broader trends in contemporary light novel publishing, where character-driven redemption arcs and the deconstruction of harem tropes are highly sought after by readers.

The character designs and illustrations provided by Mimmi are central to the series' visual identity, utilizing a clean, modern aesthetic that contrasts with the heavier, more melancholic themes of the plot. The visual style helps ground the series' emotional intensity, balancing the lighthearted elements expected of the genre with the persistent weight of the protagonist's trauma. The series has been received as a notable entry within its category, particularly for its exploration of toxic interpersonal dynamics and the limits of forgiveness, eventually leading to a manga adaptation that expanded its reach among domestic and international audiences.
