Oshi ni Osewa ni Nattemasu

Oshi ni Osewa ni Nattemasu, written and illustrated by Sorai Iki, is a manga series that explores the nuanced and often humorous dynamics between an idol and their dedicated fan. Emerging from the contemporary landscape of character-driven comedy, the series centers on the subculture of idol fandom, reflecting the increasing cultural interest in the parasocial relationships and personal commitments that define modern Japanese pop culture.

The design of the work relies on Sorai Iki's expressive character illustrations, which aim to capture the frantic energy and endearing awkwardness of the protagonist's devotion. By focusing on the interplay between the two leads, the manga provides a balanced look at the idol industry, blending sincere moments of admiration with the comedic mishaps inherent to the superfan archetype. It has been received as a lighthearted, relatable exploration of the hobbyist experience within the digital age.
