Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth Side: P3

Published in 2015, this manga adaptation is part of the expanded media universe surrounding the 2014 Nintendo 3DS title Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth. As a dungeon-crawler crossover featuring the casts of Persona 3 and Persona 4, the game necessitated a split narrative approach in its manga iterations. This specific volume follows the perspective of the Persona 3 protagonist and his teammates, serving as a companion piece designed to bridge the gap between the game's chibi-styled aesthetic and the more traditional manga serialization format.

Illustrated by Tobita Sou, the volume was created to translate the complex, lighthearted, and occasionally dark dungeon-crawling mechanics of the game into a linear, episodic reading experience. The design choices prioritize character interaction and the comedic interplay between the disparate casts. While the series was received by fans as a faithful recreation of the game's central mystery and personality-driven humor, it remains a niche entry primarily targeted at existing enthusiasts of the Persona franchise.
