Pierre and His People: Tales of the Far North - Primary Source Edition

Pierre and His People was originally published in 1892 as a collection of short stories by the Canadian-British novelist Sir Gilbert Parker. The collection introduced readers to the rugged, romanticized life of the Canadian Northwest, focusing on the character of Pretty Pierre, a half-breed gambler and adventurer. These tales were instrumental in establishing Parker's reputation as a master of imperial adventure fiction during the late Victorian era.
