Platinum End is a dark fantasy manga series created by the writing duo Tsugumi Ohba and illustrator Takeshi Obata. First serialized in Jump Square magazine starting in November 2015, the series reunites the creative team behind the globally acclaimed Death Note and Bakuman. The story follows Mirai Kakehashi, a young boy who attempts suicide, only to be saved by a guardian angel who grants him special powers and involves him in a brutal competition to become the next god of the world.
