Prince Collection

The Prince Collection is a series of short story manga volumes illustrated and written by the Japanese mangaka Oda Aya. Primarily published by Shogakukan under the Sho-Comi label during the early to mid-2000s, these collections encapsulate the romantic, shojo-style narratives that defined the era's teen magazine aesthetic. The stories typically focus on idealized adolescent relationships, characterized by the artist's signature delicate line work and focus on expressive character interactions.

Oda Aya designed these collections to resonate with a demographic of young readers interested in sentimental and dramatic storytelling. Her visual approach emphasizes soft aesthetic details and rhythmic paneling to heighten the emotional stakes of the romance genre. While the volumes are seen as emblematic of the specific commercial trends in girls' manga from that decade, they are primarily valued today by fans of the artist's specific stylistic evolution and her contributions to the Sho-Comi anthology tradition.
