Royal warrant and regulations for the equipment of her majesty's army. [Continued as] Regulations for the equipment of her majest's [afterw.] the regular army 1890- . [With] Amendments

Commissioned by the British War Office during the late Victorian era, this volume serves as a comprehensive administrative framework for the logistical management of the British Army. It was designed to codify the standards for equipment distribution, maintenance, and accountability across a sprawling imperial military apparatus that necessitated precise bureaucratic oversight to ensure uniformity and operational readiness.

The publication reflects the meticulous, often rigid approach to military infrastructure characteristic of the late nineteenth-century War Office. As a primary reference document, its design prioritizes utility and clarity for officers and administrators, providing the authoritative regulations required to manage the equipment lifecycle. While not intended for public readership, it remains an essential record of the military's structural evolution and the professionalization of the armed services during this period.
