Seigi no Mikata!

Seigi no Mikata!, authored by Miyuki Mitsubachi, was serialized in the shojo manga magazine LaLa starting in 2006. The series explores the dynamic between Yoko Nakatsu, a self-centered and manipulative older sister, and her younger sibling Makiko, who finds herself constantly at the mercy of Yoko's erratic schemes. The narrative is framed as a satirical take on the sibling hierarchy, focusing on the comedic absurdity of Yoko's distorted sense of justice.

Miyuki Mitsubachi crafted the series with a distinct blend of sharp-witted cynicism and lighthearted tropes common to the magazine's demographic. The artwork leans into expressive, exaggerated facial characterizations to emphasize Yoko's Machiavellian personality, which was well-received for its comedic timing and departure from traditional, idealized sibling bonds in shojo literature. The manga's success eventually led to a live-action television adaptation in 2008, which helped solidify its cultural footprint.
