Sennichi-go ni Rien Shimasu: Haikaburi no Seijo wa Koi o Mada Shiranai

Sennichi-go ni Rien Shimasu: Haikaburi no Seijo wa Koi o Mada Shiranai, which translates roughly to I Will Divorce in 1,000 Days: The Cinderella Saint Does Not Yet Know Love, is a light novel series that emerged within the popular Japanese subgenre of romantic fantasy. The narrative follows the tropes of the misunderstood protagonist and the complexities of arranged aristocratic betrothals, characteristic of the web-novel-to-print pipeline that has dominated the Japanese light novel market in recent years. It reflects a growing reader interest in slow-burn, character-driven romances set against the backdrop of magical hierarchies.

The series is written by Saime Wana, whose work focuses on the emotional development of the central character as she navigates the constraints of her societal position. As is common for titles in this category, the aesthetic direction relies heavily on delicate, shojo-inspired character illustrations that emphasize the fragility and internal growth of the heroine. The series has found a stable audience among readers of the genre who appreciate the blend of high-stakes court politics and quiet, personal character arcs.
