Shunkashuutou Daikousha - Moka Momoyo

Shunkashuutou Daikousha, or Agents of the Four Seasons, was written by Kana Akatsuki, who is best known for her work on Violet Evergarden. This light novel series explores a world where the personification of the seasons—the Agents—must travel the land to ensure the cycle of nature continues, despite the heavy emotional and physical toll the duties place upon them. The story focuses on the inherent melancholy and beauty of these transient figures.

The character Moka Momoyo serves as a central figure within the narrative, embodying the depth and lyrical prose style for which Akatsuki is recognized. Illustrated by Suoh, the series is noted for its evocative character designs that blend traditional aesthetics with a sense of modern fragility. The work has been well-regarded by readers for its mature themes and its contemplative approach to fantasy, offering a grounded, character-driven exploration of duty and identity.
