Sleepy Hollow: The Witches of the Western Wood #4

Released in 2016, Sleepy Hollow: The Witches of the Western Wood #4 serves as the conclusion to the four-part miniseries published by IDW Publishing. The series was designed to bridge the narrative gap between the television show's second and third seasons, expanding the supernatural lore of the series by introducing new coven-based conflicts. The story was penned by Delilah S. Dawson, a prolific fantasy author known for her ability to maintain a character's established voice while introducing fresh, atmospheric threats that fit the tone of the original production.

The interior art and cover design were crafted to lean into the dark, gothic aesthetic that defines the franchise. The visual direction focused on emphasizing the eerie, wooded settings and the unsettling magical elements central to the Sleepy Hollow mythos. Upon release, the series was received by fans of the show as a faithful expansion of the source material, praised specifically for how effectively it translated the television series' pacing and character dynamics into the sequential art medium.
