Spider-Man - Kono Kimochi wa Ijōdesu ka? (Doujinshi)

Kono Kimochi wa Ijōdesu ka? is a doujinshi, or self-published work, created by the artist known as Mosuzuke. Within the vibrant culture of Japanese fan-made publications, doujinshi frequently reimagine established pop culture icons through original, often niche narrative lenses. This work focuses on the character of Spider-Man, placing the familiar superhero within the specific stylistic tropes and romanticized dramatics characteristic of independent manga production in Japan.

The title reflects the idiosyncratic nature of the doujinshi scene, where creators leverage global intellectual properties to explore personal themes or experimental storytelling. Mosuzuke’s design and illustrative choices emphasize the aesthetic conventions of the medium, prioritizing character-driven interactions that differ from mainstream western comic portrayals. As an unofficial production, it exists as a unique piece of fan ephemera, valued primarily by collectors interested in the cross-cultural interpretation of American superheroes through the specific artistic traditions of the Japanese independent scene.
